Friday's Weigh-In...

I have no idea what happen to my post on Friday...it just went POOF!!!!

It was short so not much was missed...lol EXCEPT -2.4 pounds
I was so excited because I stepped on the scale Monday morning and it said 176. OMG!!!

Not good...but turned out so good :)

The weekend was totally crazy...that daughter of mine. She stresses me out so much...I just what to punch her in the nose...Grrrrrr
It's like you try so hard to make her happy that some days that's all it's about...making Darian happy...I think we are all at our wits end. It's not like it's ever good enough anyway. Her room is a whole new story...Grrrrrrrrrrrr

It's sitting at +30 C here today with no wind...dang we had snow 4 wks ago...lol Albertan weather always a surprise :)

Eating was in control mostly...I had 3 drinks though...so I guess we'll see how this week goes...

Hubby is out of town for 2 days this week so I always eat better...lol

Another day...

It seems like one day is running into the another day and another day and before I know it a week has past and I don't remember it...one big blur!!! I haven't talked to my mom in over a week which I hate doing because she pulls a tude on me...lol She getting old and I worry too...:(

Were having Darian's and Donovan's family birthday party...So when is it too old to have family parties?? Darian is turning 13...which is a big one but should it be the last one? We are also having 6 of her friends for the party plus a sleepover...yippee(that's sarcastic...)lol Donovan's not having his party till July 10th...We've always held the family one together since their only 6 weeks apart.

So onward...eating is good...lots of salad this week. Except I made some homemade granola bars...not a good idea. They are so good...had 1 and a half of them today. Their the kids ones, not horrible. I cut them so they are only about 100 calories each...it's just then you think(or at least I do) that a couple or 3 or 4 won't hurt...yeah right!!!

Water is sitting around 75oz...still working of that one...

I rode the bike on Monday, did Zumba cardio on Tuesday and was planning on hitting the bike again today but time just got away from me...I need to get the menu done but I have a horrible habit of scouring the net for new recipes and ideas and before I know it 2 hours are gone...POOF!!! Just like that...

So that was my day...still no grocery list but my menus done...mostly...then picked up kids...rushed to get supper on the table by 5...turned into 5:30 and we were late to soccer at 6:15pm. I try so hard but I am always late. I know it's because of the running around trying to get the 1 other things that need to be done, done and make supper. Donovan has P.A.T's all week so it's been a fight with him as well. Studying for more then 30 minutes is a chore but these are 2 hour tests...

Now that I wrote it all down...I FEEL STRESSED OUT. I just want a break but I'm not seeing one anytime soon...

Uhhhgggggg...and it's Father's day on Sunday. I haven't done anything for that either and we have a soccer game at 5:00 that day...I was hoping to go out for supper but I don't know if that's going to happen...

Well enough bitching and complaining for one day...

Changing it up...

I think it's time to change things up a bit...just not quite sure how yet.

I know I need to drink more water...I am a self confessed coffee-holic. I love my coffee and won't give it up. I am trying to cut back(trying being the operative word) and some days are better then others. So I am going to shoot for 100 oz. I am sure I will have to work up to that but work up I will...so a few questions...I have no problem putting down about 50 oz of plain water and then YUCK...so can I do crystal light packs and fruit water for the rest just adding in the calories? I feel like it's cheating...

So the weekend wasn't to bad...yeah...not to great either.I will confess too a few nachos on Saturday. If was just an off day. Soccer tournament...which meant 4 games between them...so we had breakfast then 2 games, a late lunch, then 2 games...a late supper which nobody wanted because we had been outside in +31 weather all day...so we just made the kids nachos and hubby had a burger...I had a salad with the leftover grilled chicken and a few nachos...loaded with green pepper and green onions. A little cheese...don't use much because it adds up when there are 3 or 4 layers of chips...

So I did get on the bike today...14 km...and now I'm off to soccer AGAIN!!!!

Not looking...

I think I would really enjoy skipping the weigh-In tomorrow...wouldn't bother me one bit...:)

Today was Darian's birthday. She turned 13!!!! Too scary...13 years have just flown by...I have no idea where any of it has gone...

I haven't worked out for 2 days...YIKES. I just haven't been feeling good. Yesterday...something was up with my tummy...upset and gurgling all day. I have no idea...but it was pissed. Today has just been too busy and I am sooooo tired. I slept horribly because of my tummy giving me crap all night.

I usually take Fridays off but I think I won't this week...I do owe myself a little sweating time.

Eating has been good...we only bought those little mini cupcakes for Darian's birthday so I only had 1...105 calories...yikes...but very yummy. Other then that I've been alright this week. I did have 6 of those Kettle baked hickory chips...too good those are, but at 170 calories for 30 of then I'll forgive myself :) Was actually quite surprised because chips are my binge food, but 6 was enough...yay me!!!!!

I tried the fruit water with watermelon...TY Princess Dieter :) I might try frozen fruit...I have a ton of blueberries and strawberries...that's for tomorrow.

I'm back...

Well yesterday was interesting all round...first blogger went whack then my bike was acting up and wouldn't gear down from the lvl 14 my hubby rides at. I had to unplug it for an hour...then she was good to go.

We got our new elliptical but I'm not so sure about it. 30 minutes...and I was beat...sweating, my legs were killing me. It was hard!!! and only 87 calories...HOW CAN THAT BE? I didn't even want to look at it today so I went through one of the body combat workouts. I forgot how much I love them...

Eating was going good till those damn licorice nibs jumped into my hand. I ate a handful then called the kids up and told them they could eat the whole bag if they shared and took it out of the house :D

Other then that...I need to work a little harder at eating more during the day...tomorrow I'm going to add in a protein smoothie with my breakfast...try being the operative word!!!

Well I think that's it...oh...Dilyn has decided that she is NOT going to kindergarten...and that's the end of discussion. HER EXACT WORDS...LMAO...too cute :D

I will have to catch up tomorrow...I did get to read all my blogs today, so that was the upside of Blogger NOT letting me post. I also could only comment on a few blogs because it wouldn't let me do that either.

Challenges...

I keep seeing all these challenges when I read through all my favorite blogs and was thinking of doing one...never done one before. I look at it everyday but I'm terrified of screwing up.

And I don't know what to do with Mr.Linky...lol

Anyway...I'm scared of the big fail as well...I set goals all the time but sticking to them is a whole different story. I always try my best but most days that just isn't good enough. It's the trying to keep up with 4 kids and stay on goal. I'm leaving something to be desired with that task...

I have noticed that if there's nothing good to eat then I just don't eat...
good - because I used to just eat away...didn't matter what it was...
bad - because a couple days this week I only hit 970 calories. I am making some homemade granola bars today so I can pocket them when leaving...

BUT what do you do when you go to someones house for supper(they know were trying to eat healthy) and their serving boxed burgers(yuck), french fries(uhhggggg) and bags of potato chips(ohhhhhh)?
I had 1 bite of the burger and slipped it to my son...4 fries...and no chips (they are my binge food)...and that was supper that night. We didn't get home till 11:30pm and I wasn't eating that late so I went to bed.

I've always been a speak your mind kind of person(gets me in trouble at least once a week) but I hate to hurt peoples feelings...figure that one out...lol

I'm still waiting for my elliptical...every night it's something. Usually soccer...tonight it's soccer and friends over....
Tomorrow were out with friends...will have to watch my alcohol, but I've been pretty good for that lately :)
Maybe Sunday...only 1 game at 3...won't hold my breath...lol

Started rambling and I forgot what I wanted to put down in the first place....

Oh Yeah Down 1 whole pound...YAY

And I finished 'House Rules' by Jodi Picoult last night...fantastic book...means a lot to me since my son was diagnosed with Asperger's. It's great to see it out their so people can know more about it.

Back to the hectic race I call life...

It snowed here on the weekend...can you believe that? It's the end of May and it's snowing. Crazy weather we Albertans are having. Soccer was called off once again, which was alright by me.

It's now June 2nd...snow is gone it's warmed up...although it is quite windy, and soccer is on in full force. 2 games tonight, 2 tomorrow, 2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday...playing catch-up is always so much fun....lol

I have been doing good eating wise. Haven't really had any food in the house because we didn't go grocery shopping...but we managed to squeeze it in yesterday in between pick-ups and drop-offs for soccer practices and girl guides. So now there is plenty of food in the house. I don't know if that's a good thing...but not one word when they didn't see any cookies. I have always bought one bag for the kids for lunch snacks, this time I bought 4 big packs of rice cakes and no complaints. I guess we'll see in time...lol

I did get in my 3 days last week for my workouts and I know I will this week too. I really wanted to pick up our new elliptical yesterday but hubby thought having food in the house was more important...lol

So hopefully sometime this week, I'm really looking forward to something other then the bike...

I have to say that I am in love with the new 'Satisfaction Yogurt' I crave it...so weird. The red fruits with muesli is so delish....

Well I'm going to head for the bike and see if I can manage 90 minutes today...fingers crossed...
